Young Horse Development

The Horse Ranch Baldonnel BC

In this 10 day program, Glenn and his advanced/invited students work with their horses or horses brought to The Horse Ranch for development.  Under his guidance, and using his Stages program, Glenn's students  get exposed to the aspects of colt starting where they will learn how to look at the overall work that is needed and the ways to fine tune the training they are providing to build a solid foundation for horse and rider. The students have the opportunity to work horses that have never been touched to ones that need further development. For more information contact jim@thehorseranch.com or 250.263.7417

Horsemanship Camp – Stage 1

The Horse Ranch Baldonnel BC

Stage 1 is where ‘horse savvy’ begins, creating a positive balance of trust and respect, eliminating many common problems and safety issues. The Camps give you an immersive setting at the ranch and help you develop a clear understanding of how to achieve respect and safety and give you a chance to put them to practice with hands-on help with Glenn. Camps are full days - starting at 9am-4:30pm with a 1.5 hour break. Students tell us what they learn in these Camps helps them move forward in their horsemanship in very concrete and practical ways - making gains faster and with less issues than anything else they've tried. Horsemanship Progressive – 10 Days of Pure Focus

Designed for students serious about their Horsemanship, the camp builds on what you have learned in Glenn's Stages 1,2 and 3 programs. The Horsemanship Intensive is a 10 day long learning opportunity that students return to year after year. You'll check in on the progress you've made in prior camps and clinics and focus on your goals and the milestones you want to achieve in horsemanship. Students that attend the intensive year over year share how it's changed their approach, opened doors they couldn't even have imagined and is something they look forward to! We think they share it best: Many folks add the progressive to previous camps or take the full 25 days really advancing in their horsemanship in a compressed timeframe.
